Arcoria Privacy Policy

Arcoria is designed to help users catalog and organize personal book collections. This Privacy Policy explains what information Arcoria collects, how that information is used, and how it is stored.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Arcoria iOS app and the Arcoria website.
The Arcoria iOS app stores collection data locally on your device and does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking information.
The Arcoria website is separate from the iOS app and may use privacy-preserving, cookie-free analytics and performance measurement to understand anonymous, aggregate website traffic and website performance.
Information You Provide
Arcoria may store information that you choose to enter into the app, including book titles, authors, ISBNs, edition details, subscription service information, collection notes, reading status, ratings, purchase information, and other book-related details.
Data Storage
Arcoria currently stores collection data locally on your device. Arcoria does not require a user account and does not operate a cloud synchronization service at this time.
Arcoria is designed around user control. Optional cloud-based features may be introduced in future versions. If such features are added, they will be clearly identified and require user action to enable.
ISBN Lookup Services
When you use ISBN lookup or barcode scanning features, Arcoria may send the ISBN you enter or scan to third-party book metadata providers, such as Open Library or Google Books, to retrieve book information.
These third-party providers may receive the ISBN and standard technical information, such as IP address, as part of the request.
Camera Access
Arcoria may request access to your device camera solely for barcode scanning and book identification. Camera access is used only for this purpose.
Analytics and Performance
The Arcoria iOS app does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking information.
The Arcoria website may use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand anonymous, aggregate website traffic and website performance.
Vercel Web Analytics may provide aggregate information such as page views, referrers, device type, browser type, and country-level traffic patterns.
Vercel Speed Insights may provide aggregate performance information such as page load performance, Web Vitals, browser type, device type, operating system, network speed, and country-level performance patterns.
These tools are used only to understand and improve the Arcoria marketing website. Arcoria does not use website analytics or performance data to track individual users across websites or apps.
Data Sharing
Arcoria does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Data Deletion
You may delete book records within the app. Removing the app from your device will generally remove locally stored app data, subject to Apple iOS behavior and any device backups you may have enabled.
Children's Privacy
Arcoria is not directed toward children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
